What is ISI Admission Test-2019 ?

• Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Admission Test. Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) is an academic institute of national importance as recognised by the Govt.of India.
• Founded by Professor P.C. Mahalanobis, Established on 17th December, 1931 in Kolkata.This public university of India is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions focused on statistics,natural sciences, social sciences and its early reputation led it to being adopted as a model for the first US institute of Statistics set up at the Research Triangle, North Carolina by Gertrude Mary Cox.

Courses Offered and Eligibility:

• 3-year Bachelor of Statistics (Hons): Successful completion of 10+2 years of Higher Secondary Education (or its equivalent) with Mathematics and English as subjects. Stipend 3000/- per month (Offered at Kolkata).
• 3-year Bachelor of Mathematics (Hons): Successful completion of 10+2 years of Higher Secondary Education (or its equivalent) with Mathematics and English as subjects. Stipend 3000/- per month (Offered at Bengaluru).

• Candidates residing in India can apply only ON-LINE through the official website www.isical.ac.in.
• Candidates who are appearing the qualifying examination before 01 July, 2019 may also apply.

Admit Cards:

• After the applications are processed at ISI, the Admit Card for the Admission Test along with the Registration Number will be generated, tentatively after April 2nd week, 2019. Applicants will receive a link containing the above information in his/her account and will need to take print out of the Admit Card.

Admission Procedure:

• Admissions will be based on the performance in written test Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Admission Test 2019.
• The written test is waived for applicants who are INMO AWARDEES, based on their performance in the Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO) conducted by the National Board of Higher Mathematics, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. Such candidates will be directly called for interviews but are required to apply in the prescribed application form like all other candidates (see details in Prospectus).
