  • This recruitment is being conducted pursuant to the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) executed between the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and the Central Armed Police Forces Institute of Medical Sciences (CAPFIMS, with its registered office located at Maidangarhi, New Delhi - 110068.
  • As per the provisions of the MoA, AIIMS, New Delhi has agreed to operationalize CAPFIMS as its own campus under the name "AIIMS-CAPFIMS Campus", subject to the terms and conditions of the MoA and in accordance with the applicable Acts, Rules, and Regulations governing AIIMS, New Delhi.
  • Any appointment under this recruitment notice is subject to terms and conditions of the above said MOA, wherein it has been mentioned that "Either party may withdraw from or terminate the MoA by serving a termination notice of 5 years with the approval of the respective administrative Ministry."
  • On such termination of MoA, employees recruited for AIIMS-CAPFIMS Campus may be allowed to continue at CAPFIMS,Maidangarhi, New Delhi or in similar institutions/ posts under MHA at the discretion of MHA as per respective terms and conditions of appointment. They will NOT be adjusted at AIIMS New Delhi under any circumstances.
  • This recruitment is for faculty positions approved by Govt. of India for AIIMS-CAPFIMS Campus in Maidangarhi, New Delhi. Appointments made for the faculty position for AIIMS-CAPFIMS Campus are not for AIIMS New Delhi and have no linkage with AIIMS, New Delhi.
  • Faculty appointed at the AIIMS CAPFIMS Campus will be postedexclusively in AIIMS-CAPFIMS campus only and will be responsible to serve the needs of AIIMS-CAPFIMS campus. Those appointed for the AIIMS-CAPFIMS will not be transferred to any other campus of AIIMS New Delhi.They shall constitute a separate cadre, with distinct seniority and career progression, governed by policies framed specifically for AIIMS-CAPFIMS.

Maximum Age Limit and Age Relaxation:

  • General Upper Age Limit: 50 (Fifty) years for all posts.
  • Cutoff date for determining eligibility in terms of Age: The cut-off date for determining age eligibility will be the last date of online application submission, which is 09.05.2025.
  • Age Relaxation:
    Age relaxation is permitted for following categories:
    Category Age relaxation permissible beyond the upper age limit.
    SC/ST 05 years
    OBC 03 years
    PWBD 05 years
    Government Servant 05 years
  • Eligibility for Age Relaxation:
    a. Age relaxation is granted exclusively to regular employees working under the Central Government. It does not apply to employees of autonomous bodies (e.g., AIIMS), State Governments, or Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
    b. SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies or being considered against UR posts on merit will not be eligible for age relaxation.
    c. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are eligible for age concession irrespective to whether the post is specifically reserved for PwBD or not.
  • Maximum Age Limit after Relaxation:
    The upper age limit, even after availing age relaxation, shall not surpass 55 years on the cut-off date.

Maximum Age Limit and Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST candidates may be granted relaxation of up to one year in the required experience for the advertised posts at the discretion of the competent authority.

Annexure-II :Prescribed Recruitment Rules for the post of Additional Professor & Associate Professor:

i) A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act).
ii) A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/Subject.
And/OR
i) M.Ch. for surgical super-specialties and D.M. for Medical Super specialties(2 years or 3 years or 5 years or 6 years recognized course) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Experience :
Ten years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/MS in or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
OR
Eight years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/Subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
OR
Seven years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty for the candidates possessing 3 years or 6 years recognized Degree of D.M./M.Ch. in the respective discipline/Subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Essential for Non-Medical Candidates
1. Postgraduate qualification i.e. Master degree in the discipline /allied subject.
2. A Doctorate degree of a recognized University.
Experience :
Ten years teaching and/or research experience in discipline/subject after obtaining the doctorate degree.

Pay Scales:

Additional Professor Level 13-A2+ Rs.148200-211400/- as per 7th CPC. Plus, NPA for those medical posts for which a recognized medical qualification has been prescribed as an essential qualification.
Associate Professor Level-13 A-1+ Rs. 138300-209200/- as per 7th CPC.
