• The following are the Regulations for admission into MBBS/BDS Courses in all Medical and Dental Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS for the academic year 2025-26 under Competent Authority Quota i.e., the seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges (after exclusion of 15 % seats transferred to All India Quota) and Category 'A' seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority / Minority Medical Colleges and Private Non-Minority Dental Colleges and Army Dental College.

Cut-Off Scores:

Eligibility Criteria:

• The candidates should be Indian Nationals/Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) card holder (PIO/OCI status issued before 04-03-2021) and shall fulfill the provisions notified in G.O.Ms.No. 33 dated 19-07-2024, HM&FW dept.
• Candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Biotechnology and English.
  • OC candidates including candidates seeking EWS reservation should obtain not less than 50% marks in science subjects.
  • BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science subjects.
  • OC PWD candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects.
• Age: Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12- 2025. Candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12- 2025 are not eligible for admission.

Eligibility conditions in respect of candidates who are Domicile of Telangana:

• A candidate for admission into MBBS/BDS courses under Competent Authority Quota in Telangana should be Indian Nationals (or) Person of Indian Origin (PIO) Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) card holder (PIO/OCI status issued before 04-03-2021) and shall fulfill the following provisions (G.O.Ms.No. 33 HM&FW(C1) Dept. Dated: 19-7-2024)
• If the candidate has studied in an Educational Institutions in such local area for a period of not less than 4 consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared in relevant qualifying examination.
  or
  ii) Where during the whole or any part of the four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, he has not studied in Educational Institutions, if he had resided in that local area for a period of not less than four years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination, in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared
• Local area herein means the State of Telangana. Further, in case the candidate has not studied in any educational institution and has resided in the local area as stated at (ii) above, to be eligible for admission into Under graduate courses under Competent Authority Quota, the candidate should have appeared for the relevant qualifying examination in the State of Telangana
• NOTE: Admissions are subject to the final outcome of the pending SLPs in the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.
