Correction in the particulars of the online Application Form of Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] - 2026 - Reg

  • National Testing Agency will be conducting Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] -2026 from 11-31 May 2026 onwards at various examination Centres located in different cities across India and abroad in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. As per the information published in Information Bulletin and Public Notice dated 03.01.2026 and 30.01.2026 it was mentioned that correction facility would be provided for the Online Application Form of CUET (UG) - 2026.
  • In view of the above, it is informed that the opportunity for correction or modifying errors/details as per Annexure-1 in the Online Application Form will be available as per the following schedule:

  • All the registered candidates for the CUET (UG)-2026 are advised to visit the website (https://cuet.nta.nic.in/) and verify their particulars. It is also advised to make correction(s) in their particulars, if required. The window for corrections shall be available as per above schedule (up to 11:50 P.M.). After this deadline, no further corrections will be permitted under any circumstances.
  • Since, it is aa one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship, the candidates are informed to do the correction very carefully, as no further opportunity for correction will be given to the candidates.
  • It is important to note that the final correction will be applicable only after payment of any additional fees, if required. In case where changes affect the fee amount, candidates will be charged excess fee accordingly. Please note that excess payment made will not be refunded.
  • The candidates should regularly visit NTA website(s) https://nta.ac.in and https://cuet.nta.nic.in/ for the latest updates. For further clarifications related to CUET (UG) - 2026, candidates can call NTA Help Desk at 011-40759000 or email at cuet-ug@nta.ac.in.

Corrections in the Application Form for the CUET (UG) - 2026 examination:

2 Candidate shall be allowed to change any one of the fields: i. Candidate Name or
ii. Father Name or
iii. Mother Name
3 Candidate shall be allowed to change all the fields i. Class 10/ equivalent details
ii. Class 12/ equivalent details
4 Candidates shall be allowed to change examination Cities based on their Permanent and Present addess (it is once again clarified that NTA is not bound to follow the choices given by the candidates):
Note: Candidates who had previously selected Delhi as their examination city may now choose Delhi/NCR as their exаm city.		 i. Eamination City selection
ii. Medium of the examination
5 Candidates shall be allowed to change all the fields i. Date of Birth
ii. Gender
iii. Category
iv. Sub-category/PwD/PwBD (if not verified by UDID)
v. Signature
6 Candidates shall be allowed to add/edit the field: Domain subjects/langauges /General Aptitude Test
7 Candidates shall be allowed to change identity details ( only for candidates who registered with identiy other than Aadhaar) Aadhaar details
8 The option to add the subjects/ edit the Subjects (Candidates may choose upto a maximum of five (05) subjects including languages and General Aptitude Test) will be available during correction period.
Note:
i. If there is an impact on the fee, then the additional fee will be charged as applicable. However, in any case the ot be fee will not be reimbursed.
ii. Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee, if any.
iii. The only one-time correction will be allowed to the candidate i.e. once the corrections are done and submitted, the form shall be frozen.
