• The National Testing Agency will conduct the Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] - 2026 from 11 May 2026 to 31 May 2026 at various examination centres located across different cities in India and abroad, in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
• The online application process was open from 03 January 2026 to 30 January 2026, with the last date for submission of the examination fee being 31 January 2026 (up to 11:50 PM). Subsequently, the registration deadline was extended up to 04 February 2026, and the fee payment facility remained available until 07 February 2026. In response to multiple representations received from candidates, the registration window was further re-opened from 23 February 2026 to 26 February 2026 (up to 11:50 PM), to facilitate aspiring candidates.
• Now, the NTA has received several requests from candidates applied for CUET (UG)-2026 for updation in subjects opted earlier in their online application form to made them eligible for admission in their desired University [participating in CUET (UG)-2026]. Considering the requests received, the NTA has decided to provide an opportunity for the candidates (who registered successfully and paid the fee) to update the previously selected subjects from 17-19 April 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).
• Candidates are advised to carefully review and ensure the correctness of their subjects to be finalized during this period, as this constitutes a special extended opportunity.
